Eko Innovation Centre, one of the country’s most influential and leading tech hubs, and GDM Group, Nigeria’s leading marketing and innovation company, whose previous collaborations have brought about events like the Art of Technology Conferences and the Lagos Smart Meter Hackathon is launching Nigeria’s First-ever Media and Marketing Hackathon called MarkHack1.0.

MarkHack 1.0 is Nigeria’s maiden media and marketing hackathon designed to bridge the industry-innovator gaps in the marketing and media Space with innovators, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and marketing professionals can collaborate as teams, using creativity, technology, and mentoring from industry thought leaders to create innovative solutions to real-life Marketing and media challenges.

The goal is to create a new vibrant community of marketing innovators with linkages to marketing stakeholders, professionals, institutions. academia, regulators, and brand owners with an interest in adopting innovative, sustainable, and eco-friendly solutions.

Participation at Markhack 1.0 is open to all, innovators, entrepreneurs, students, marketing professionals, content creators, media practitioners, and players in the media and marketing ecosystem who can register as a Participant, a mentor, or a partner at Markhack 1.0.

MarkHack 1.0 is scheduled to run for 3 months featuring a launch event, pitch session, masterclasses, and mentoring sessions. Finalists will have a chance to join an accelerator program with up to $20,000 equity investment and a chance to be mentored by industry experts for three (3) months.

Registration for the MarkHack 1.0 has started and will close on the 17th of March.
