South Africa: FBS Partners With Education Africa to Equip Youth in Orange Farm
For the benefit of kids and teens in the Johannesburg township of Orange Farm, FBS, a top worldwide broker, and Education Africa, a renowned educational nonprofit organization, work together.
This collaboration serves as an example of our shared dedication to the UN Sustainable Development Goal of ensuring all people have access to high-quality education and eradicating inequalities.
By forming a collaboration in September, FBS and Education Africa reaffirmed their dedication to excellence and accessibility in education. As part of the arrangement, FBS will provide financial aid to Masibambane College students in Orange Farm, a school established by Education Africa and affiliated with St. John’s College.
Masibambane College has been creating the framework to become a STEM Educational Center of Excellence since 2019. The first donation from FBS was used to purchase stationary and exercise books, together with other necessary educational supplies, for use by everyone of Msibambane College.
Regarding this charitable alliance, Diego Lima, the FBS Business Development Lead for the African Region, states: “FBS is thrilled to join with Education Africa in assisting Masibambane College on its STEM path. We recognize the importance of high-quality education as the cornerstone of international development in our capacity as a global fintech platform and financial services provider. By making investments in STEM education, we are assisting young students in becoming better equipped to function in the future tech-driven employment market. FBS is dedicated to having a positive influence on the neighborhood.
“Education Africa is excited to collaborate with FBS on our shared goal of giving underserved people access to high-quality education. It is simple to forget that Masibambane College is solely dependent on donations, but thanks to this cooperation, we will be able to improve our institution even more and give our students the tools they need to succeed. Together, James Urdang, the founder and CEO of Education Africa, says, “We will undoubtedly bring about significant change.
FBS is pleased to partner with Education Africa in support of its goal to increase Masibambane College’s capability and turn it into a STEM Educational Center of Excellence.
