Skizaa Education, a Kenyan business, has been nominated for an international education prize.
Skizaa Education, a Kenyan startup, has been named the only African company among global education companies to compete as a finalist in the Milken Penn GSE Education Business Plan Competition.
Skizaa, which was founded in 2022 and has been invited to exhibit at Edtech Week 2023 in New York this autumn, specializes in gathering and analyzing educational data, particularly from last mile regions. The purpose is to provide valuable information to stakeholders such as NGOs, curriculum developers, legislators, and social entrepreneurs for informed decision-making and improved educational outcomes.
“I am overjoyed to represent Skizaa Education as the only African startup chosen for this international competition.” “We are committed to promoting inclusive education and believe that improved data access will enable schools and teachers to implement more data-driven interventions,” said Ngugi Karega, CEO of Skizaa Education.
