NFTs Join The Real-World Fight For Ukraine
Metaverse-based company Gamepay has launched an NFT marketplace for its first NFT and play-to-earn games project Chickey Chik and part of the proceeds from the NFT sale will be donated to the Ukrainian Red Cross.
Founded by a team that is focused on democratising NFTs and bringing games to all areas of emerging economies, Gamepay has created the Chickey Chik platform where anybody of any age or any location can play games and make money by starting with the buying and selling of Chickey Chik NFT games assets.
The world’s gamers can begin the journey from buying NFTs based on gaming characters to using them in full-blown gameplay and making money from games on the way to the metaverse.
Early investors include Seier Capital and investors including 8i Holdings in a significant pre-seed funding round that will be released next week.
The marketplace allows easy and fun ways to acces rare and limited edition collectibles in the form of game characters (current and future) and trade them with the Chickey Chik community.
As well as items and accessories, Gamepay has also partnered up with fashion houses and artists so that sneakers, art and other fashion apparel can be bought, sold and traded via the marketplace. These NFTs will also be sold via art galleries.
Unlike many organisations that purport to bring games to the masses, Gamepay is already doing it and Chickey Chik is the first of many such projects from Gamepay to harness both NFTs and games to do exactly that.
“The launch of the NFT marketplace for Chickey Chik is the first step on a roadmap melding NFTs and games that will completely transform the pay-to-earn environment.
“Since we started the company at the turn of the year there has been huge interest from investors such as Seier Captial as well as the most important section, gamers, who have embraced this concept,” said Daniel Santos, Gamepay CEO.
Already positively featured in Forbes magazine, later this quarter Gamepay will release constant updates to its evolution of Chickey Chik.
After the launch of the NFT marketplace, the company will prepare for the launch of the Chickey Chik game as well as launches on the Open Sea NFT marketplace and token launches on decentralized exchanges.
