Koolskools, Morocco-based ed-Tech Raises $960,000 to Promote Access to Quality Educational Content
Azur Innovation Fund has invested $960,000 (MAD10 million) in the Moroccan EdTech startup KOOLSKOOLS.
The Fund is a public-private seed fund that intends to give innovative entrepreneurs in Morocco equity and quasi-equity financing.
KOOLSKOOLS, a joint educational venture founded in 2020 by Mariam Zrii and Nouredine Amrani, addresses pedagogical issues through the digitalization of numerous processes. Technology is used by edtech to digitise the instructional process for learning theory and practice. This entails the development and execution of interactive exercises, content banks, live courses, the tracking of skill learning, remedial procedures, and other activities.
A platform developed by KoolSkools provides a number of services and solutions for educational institutions. Using a “360” approach, KoolSkools not only creates engaging courses but also provides digital administration solutions for a school’s everyday operations, such as student records, report cards, payment management, and more.
No matter their social status, more students will have equal access to high-quality instructional materials and attentive supervision thanks to edtech. Regardless of socioeconomic position or educational degree, KoolSkools thinks everyone should have access to education.
By the acquisition of human, technical, and marketing resources, this fundraising initiative will enable KOOLSKOOLS to strengthen its presence on a national level and to launch its international expansion.
