SA startups can start applying for Circular Economy Accelerator
Fetola, a business growth specialist, has opened applications for its Circular Economy Accelerator (CEA), which aims to provide mentoring and skills development to South African entrepreneurs looking to scale their businesses in the circular economy.
Sixty-five entrepreneurs will be selected to participate in the 18-month incubator programme, which is designed to meet the needs of South African startups and women-owned businesses. Entrepreneurs will learn new skills and develop their products and services during the program, allowing them to access growth opportunities.
During the program, they will also have access to unique investment, funding, and mentoring opportunities, as well as business skills development workshops, strategic planning and gap analysis, mentoring and coaching, brand building interventions, peer-to-peer networking, access to sector-specific resources, and performance evaluation.
Participants will be assigned an accountability partner and connected to a peer network to learn from one another.
“The circular economy plays an important role in the South African economy, and we must ensure that entrepreneurs in this sector receive the support they require to thrive.” “Our expertise is in assisting entrepreneurs in building long-lasting businesses,” said Catherine Wijnberg, CEO of Fetola.
“The CEA is not like other incubators. It’s professional, personal, and useful. The program maximizes your company’s success by leveraging the experience of skilled mentors and peer network partnerships. The program is ideal for entrepreneurs who are passionate about their business and want to increase their chances of success. It’s for businesses in the circular economy or making a positive impact on the environment by designing out waste and pollution.”
Applications are open here until February 16.
