Applications are now being accepted for the VC4A Venture Showcase Africa in 2023.
VC4A has invited for proposals to the VC4A Venture Showcase Africa – 2023, the yearly accelerator program that promotes high-growth, high-impact enterprises fostering economic progress throughout the continent.
VC4A: VC4A is an ecosystem builder that makes use of its network, infrastructure, and skills to support initiatives that support the startup movement in developing economies.
“The actual benefit of the VC4A Venture Showcase Africa program is the amount of investor participation,” stated Abu Cassim, the acceleration team lead at VC4A. Investors participate in the referral of startups, the selection of the best businesses, the delivery of master classes, and the final pitching procedure. As a result, during the process, investors can see the participating companies.
“We are thrilled to extend an invitation to additional partners to join us who share our vision and dedication to fostering entrepreneurship in Africa. Together, we can offer more meaningful opportunities for African founders to present their companies and make connections with potential investors and partners.
A chance to present their companies to the most active investors on the continent, the Showcase is open to African founders of innovative and disruptive startups and scaleups that are making money and wanting to raise their Seed or Series A investment.
The VC4A Venture Showcase Africa has assisted its alumni in raising approximately $630M since its start in 2017, demonstrating the program’s success in promoting entrepreneurship and innovation in Africa.
The African European Digital Innovation Bridge, AEDIB|NET, and Work In Progress will collaborate with VC4A on this edition (funded by the EU Horizon 2020 programme).
The company hopes to offer four themed tracks, including Climate Smart Agriculture, Smart Cities, Digital Commerce, and Clean Tech, in addition to the two main tracks of Series A and Seed fundraising, through VC4A’s cooperation with AEDIB|NET. AEDIB|NET is designed to helping African-based businesses with revolutionary solutions in one of the focused tracks in 11 select African nations.
