Terawork, Nigerian Recruitment Startup Launches App to Help Employers Hire
Terawork, a Nigerian startup in the recruiting industry, has released iOS and Android mobile apps to assist employers and business owners in hiring, managing and communicating with verified talent in real-time.
Terawork is a freelance marketplace that was established in 2018 and is a graduate of the Google for Startups Africa accelerator. It enables thousands of users to search and hire freelancers for urgent assignments and short-term projects.
With users in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, the UK, the US, Canada, and other countries, Terawork provides a straightforward end-to-end process that includes payment escrow, easy personal search, access to a wide range of freelance talent that is economically competitive, a task management system for work collaboration, and a post-work review system, all with 24/7 customer support.
The startup’s CEO, Femi Taiwo, called the new apps “game changers,” especially for companies that have trouble finding employees with the proper skill sets. The smartphone app’s on-the-go functionality, meanwhile, improves the likelihood that freelance users will get employed by both domestic and international clients.
