15 startups have advanced to the second phase of the Solution Space E-Track Program
Fifteen startups have progressed to the second stage of the E-Track Programme, which is run by UCT GSB Solution Space in collaboration with ayoba.
The E-track Program is a three-stage venture acceleration program aimed at high-impact individuals, aspiring entrepreneurs, and experienced founders.
The first phase is Venture Launch, which focuses on validating the venture concept; the second phase is aimed at accelerating the development of the validated venture; and the third phase is focused on scaling ventures with the help of partners and investors.
Fifteen startups have been chosen to advance to the program’s second phase, dubbed Venture Exploitation. These startups are spread across the African continent, with teams from Mozambique, Nigeria, Ghana, Mauritius, and South Africa.
Qataloog, an ed-tech startup, Kelo, a digital bookstore, Forte, a fitness marketplace, and an analytics suite are among them. PageBeats, Wastebase DEAL (waste plastic trading platform), GoShare (donation-based crowdfunding platform for students), and Laduma Analytics (data-driven storytelling and performance analysis for South African professional football).
Merchandise platform Fan Base, investment startup SuM 1, crowdsourcing and crowdfunding platform an Angel, recommendations platform Amelyia App, gaming startup Dynasto, wellness and beauty startup The Beauty Network, and agri company Allan Farm Co-op round out the list.
The program has begun and will be completed in early 2022.
