YouTube Is Testing Smart Downloads Feature That Will Allow Users to Downloads 20 Videos Automatically per Week
According to reports, YouTube is developing a new feature that allows viewers to watch content without requiring an internet connection.
When Android devices are connected to Wi-Fi, YouTube’s new Smart Downloads feature can automatically download videos. The most recent Smart Downloads function might download up to 20 recommended videos every week.
For a limited time, it is apparently available as an experimental feature for a restricted number of members. YouTube Music has a similar Smart Downloads feature that automatically downloads music when users are connected to a Wi-Fi connection based on their past listening habits.
This functionality is accessible to Premium subscribers as an experimental feature until February 14.
Premium members can now use the Smart Downloads function on YouTube Music. Users can listen to music while offline by downloading their favorite songs and videos on their mobile devices. When the Smart Downloads feature is activated, the app will download content based on the user’s previous listening behavior when connected to Wi-Fi. It is advised that users reconnect to the Internet at least once every 30 days in order to keep their downloads up to date.
In a similar vein, YouTube is rumored to be bringing out Listening Controls for Premium subscribers on Android and iOS. The new function allows customers more control over their music listening experience on the site. It enables you to play, pause, fast forward, and even rewind videos. It is currently stated to be available for users in the United States. By clicking on the three-dot icon in the top right corner of the YouTube video, you may access the Listening Controls function.
