The Kofi Annan Award for Innovation in Africa is now accepting applications.
The Kofi Annan Award for Innovation in Africa (KAAIA), which focuses on technologically advanced approaches to guarantee that no one goes hungry in Africa, is now accepting applications.
In order to scale their impact and help as many Africans as possible, the Austrian Federal Chancellery and the Kofi Annan Foundation are organizing the KAAIA, which invites entrepreneurial startups with a solid business plan and a track record of social impact to submit their business plans.
The KAAIA aims to support technology-driven methods and solutions that are assisting in improving food security and systems in African nations, as well as to increase awareness of the potential that African entrepreneurs hold to meet the Sustainable Development Goals.
The deadline for applications is February 8.
