South Africa’s Datacentrix Excels at the HPE Channel Awards 2022
Datacentrix excelled at the recent Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) South Africa Channel Partner awards ceremony held at Fancourt in the Western Cape, taking home the title of HPE Overall FY21 Partner of the Year, as well as seven other hotly contested awards.
“This year’s HPE awards ceremony was probably our most successful to date,” says Tony de Sousa, MD: Technology at Datacentrix.
“HPE has been a strategic partner for Datacentrix since its inception, and we are honored to have won first place at this year’s awards event.”
Datacentrix has also won other awards
In addition to being named the Overall Partner of the Year, Datacentrix was named the Aruba Partner of the Year, as well as receiving the Aruba Partner Deal of the Year award for its project with a local healthcare company.
According to Mandy Duncan, Aruba Country Manager for South Africa, this is significant for Aruba because it is the company’s first end-to-end Edge Services Platform (ESP) customer, and it has also been nominated as one of the EMEA Deals of the Year for Aruba 2021.
Furthermore, the company’s Marc van der Poll was named Aruba Distinguished Partner Engineer of the Year for his outstanding work and integral role in several key projects.
“It is significant for us that Datacentrix was recognized on the Aruba side of HPE’s business, as well as receiving several Specialisation Awards, such as HPE Compute Partner of the Year, HPE As a Service Partner of the Year, and HPE Pointnext Services Delivery Partner of the Year,” says Wimpie van Rensburg, Business Unit Manager: Enterprise Technologies at Datacentrix.
“This is due to the fact that the awards received across the board demonstrate our extensive capabilities, knowledge, and experience across the entire HPE product set,” he continued.
“I am honored and humbled to announce Datacentrix as the HPE Overall FY21 Partner of the Year, based on revenue, year-on-year growth, and strategic product revenue contribution.” It also included key wins in infrastructure, services, and Aruba. Congratulations to Datacentrix; we are grateful for everything you do for HPE,” said Sandile Dube, Acting MD of HPE South Africa.
