Recur Technologies secures a $30 million funding round
Recur Technologies PTE, a Singapore-based financing platform, announced a $30 million equity and debt fundraising round from a group of Indian investors.
Recur Club Technologies, the financial technology startup’s Delhi-based subsidiary, operates in India. InfoEdge Ventures, the investment arm of Info Edge (India), and Village Global have each invested $2 million in the parent company’s equities.
The remaining $28 million (Rs 210 crore) in rupee-denominated debt is raised from Aditya Birla Finance, U GRO Capital, Incred Financial Services, and a few others.
The funding was approved in August of last year. According to Abhinav Sherwal, co-chief executive of Recur Club, the company was credited this year between January and March.
Recur Club, founded in 2021 by two IIM Calcutta batchmates Sherwal and Eklavya Gupta, provides financing in exchange for recurring future revenues.
