Entrepreneurs from Lagos, Nairobi, and Kigali can now apply for the Global Urban Innovation Challenge for Emergent Cities
Utopia and the World Economic Forum’s new Centre for Urban Transformation have launched a worldwide Urban Innovation Challenge to engage an ecosystem of 800 innovative urban entrepreneurs, investors, and mayors from Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
Entrepreneurs who are working on real-world urban tech solutions that help to make the world a better place, enable dynamic communities, and promote human welfare are eligible for the challenge. Applicants from Lagos, Nairobi, and Kigali are urged to submit their applications.
The winners will benefit from increased visibility, investor connections, over US$25,000 in startup resources, and the opportunity to join the World Economic Forum’s Technology Pioneers.
The application deadline is January 22.
