ATCON/ITAN Sponsor Telecom Training for ICT Journalists In Nigeria
ATCON and ITAN have concluded plans for a 3-day Telecom Appreciation Training for practicing ICT journalist in Nigeria.In a joint communique issued by Engr.Titi Omo-Ettu,President ATCON who is coordinating the program ,he said that all is ready and the particpants shorlisted for the 1st Batch of the TelecomAppreciation Training for practicing ICT journalists who report the Telecom/IT industry and which ITAN and ATCON jointly packaged as part of the refocus agenda for our emerging ICT industry.
He further explained that the training is conceived to be an intensive 20 hours of classwork spread into 3 days and taking off on Thursday September 1, through Saturday September 3, 2011 in Lagos Nigeria.The program caters for full accommodation and feeding for the participants.
Lined up include a program overview at opening and a closing ceremony during which representatives of sponsors of the program have been invited to be with us and possibly give keynote speeches he added.
“Also there will be a Thematic Evening during which members will, under a conference setting, discuss random telecom issues which may not be part of the training curriculum but which are also important for general knowledge of all members and the Resource Faculty.
There will also be one Evening of Social Interaction during which members will relax and socialize in an environment of music,
eating and drinking.And at the end of the training,a Certificate of Participation will be issued to participants”
