Apply: MEST Africa’s 12-month Training Program (Class of 2023)

Every young aspiring digital entrepreneur in Africa is encouraged to apply for MEST Africa’s 12-month technology and entrepreneurship training program. With the Class of 2022 in full swing, it’s time to get back into the recruiting swing of things and formally open up applications for the Class of 2023.

MEST Africa receives around 4000 applications each year from all throughout Africa. Only the top 60 most talented individuals are chosen to join our training program after a lengthy and tough recruitment procedure. Over 800 tech entrepreneurs and professionals have been trained, and they have invested in over 80 firms. They’ve also created some of the best businesses on the continent, including meQasa, Complete Farmer, Kudobuzz, and CodeLn, among others, that are altering industries and scaling across the continent.

Eligibility:

• A university or technical college diploma or similar experience with at least two (2) years of corporate and startup experience is required (preferred).
• Exceptional communication, business, or software development talents.
• Young people who are passionate about technology and entrepreneurship, as well as how to apply technology to achieve commercial goals.
• Should be willing to commit to a year-long residential program.
• Complete the appropriate Pre-Learning courses and MEST’s rigorous recruitment procedure to demonstrate that you are a disciplined, motivated self-starter who can work and deliver on assignments and projects.
• A strong desire to establish a business and an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Ability to talk openly and convincingly.
• Proven academic or professional competence, ability to work well in a team.
• Leadership abilities that have been demonstrated.
• Independent and self-assured thinking.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

2. Consider taking an aptitude exam.
3. Fill up the MEST Training Program application and send it in.
4. Interviews with members of our hiring team.
5. Offer.

Important application dates to keep in mind:

• The deadline for applications is April 20th, 2022.
• Final interviews will be held in Accra, Lagos, Dakar, Nairobi, and Johannesburg in May of 2022.
• In Accra, Ghana, the training program will begin in August 2022.
