Application is Now Open to Nigeria’s Creative Space Startups Cohort 3 of Growth4Her Accelerator
A nonprofit organization called Creative Space Startups is now accepting applications for the third Growth-4Her cohort, which will choose 100 women-led SMEs in Nigeria and Cameroon for empowerment. In order to oversee the management of the Cohort, Growth4Her collaborates with Creative Space Startups, Socio Capital Impact Group, The Learning Gate, and ActivSpaces.
The goal of the investor readiness accelerator program is to strengthen the capacity of female entrepreneurs and give them the resources they need to grow their enterprises. Africa boasts the largest proportion of female entrepreneurs; nevertheless, the problem is to guarantee they receive sufficient support for their expansion, especially in terms of capital.
The gender finance gap in Africa was estimated by the African Development Bank (AfDB) to be $42 billion in 2021. Growth4Her tackles this important issue as an AFAWA Women Entrepreneurship Enabler supported by the AfDB’s AFAWA initiative. The program’s five-year goal is to empower 1,500 female entrepreneurs in ten African cities, with a concentration on women-led small and medium-sized businesses (WSMEs).
