African Impact Challenge is now accepting applications.
Applications are now available for the African Impact Challenge, which supports participants in developing market-creating ideas that utilize technology to address the greatest challenges facing the continent.
The African Impact Challenge is expanding to South Africa this year and introducing a pan-African health-focused stream, after a pilot in Ghana in 2020, a challenge in Kenya in 2021, and an edition in Rwanda in 2022.
The top teams will fly to Toronto, Canada for up to four months, with all expenses paid, to learn and grow their entrepreneurial network. They will also win up to US$25,000 in grant financing or equity investment.
“Our goal is to successfully launch innovations across the continent that meet our criteria for selection. We achieve this by giving early founders the funding, resources, and direction they need to start from scratch and develop workable solutions, according to the organizers.
Africans under the age of 39 who work full-time on impact-focused businesses that leverage technology to solve pressing challenges are eligible to apply online until April 15.
