Africa Tech Summit Announces Leading Startups That are Eligible to Pitch Live
The Africa Tech Summit has announced the final shortlist of startups that will pitch live on stage to delegates at the sold-out Africa Tech Summit, which will take place this week in Nairobi on February 23rd and 24th.
Pitch Live has received over 300 submissions and aims to showcase leading startup ventures from across the continent while connecting them with leading investors, corporates, and business opportunities. It is generously supported by Paystack and Microsoft.
Applications were received from all over the continent, with the following startups chosen to participate: those seeking pre-seed, seed, or Series A funding.
Arata (Nigeria) is the next-gen online blockchain gaming, marketplace, animations incubator and video streaming company
Bitmama (Nigeria) is a highly-secured and fast-growing crypto platform
Eshi Express PLC (Ethiopia) is transforming the last mile delivery in Ethiopia
Flex Finance (Nigeria) is digitizing requisition and spend management saving hours with automatic disbursements
KaziNow (Kenya) is catalyzing job creation and improving livelihoods for young and vulnerable populations, at scale.
LazerPay (Nigeria) is a blockchain-powered payment infrastructure for the internet.
Pravica (Egypt) is creating a paradigm shift in private and secure communications.
Visual and AI Solutions (VAIS) (Egypt) – VAIS FarmGATE is an all-in-one precision Ag Platform.
Zuri (Kenya) is democratizing access to health care.
“We are thrilled with the response to the fourth edition of Pitch Live and are very excited to showcase these exciting ventures.” The goal is to connect with new investors, customers, and corporations, and we are finally back live and in person,” explained Andrew Fassnidge, founder of Africa Tech Summit.

The Africa Startup Summit draws entrepreneurs, investors, Hubs and co-working spaces, corporates looking to increase their presence in the innovation and startup space, and industry bodies looking to engage with the entrepreneurship community.
The Africa Tech Summit will feature three tracks – The Money and DeFi Summit, Africa Startup Summit, and Africa Mobile Summit – that will foster interaction and a vision for the future across a variety of industries.
