The US$100,000 Africa Food Prize, which honors a remarkable person or organization that is spearheading the struggle to alter the reality of farming in Africa, is now accepting applications.
The Africa Food Prize highlights daring ideas and technical discoveries that can be reproduced across the continent to create new levels of food security and economic opportunity for all Africans. It honors Africans who are taking charge of the continent’s agricultural agenda.
It aspires to recognize outstanding individuals—women, men, and institutions—whose contributions to African agriculture are paving the way for a new era of economic opportunity and sustainable food security for all Africans.
The deadline for submissions is June 17.
