Apply: Aurora Tech Award for Female-led African Startups

The Aurora Tech Award is an annual global prize for women founders of tech firms, and African startups led by women are welcome to apply.

In an effort to break down barriers and advance equality in tech entrepreneurship, the Aurora Tech Award is looking for female founders who have developed a working prototype or an early version of their product.

US$30,000 is awarded as the first prize, US$20,000 as the second, and US$10,000 as the third. Selected projects will also have access to a global network of female tech entrepreneurs, PR assistance, advice from venture capital specialists, and coaching from inDrive’s C-level executives and industry professionals through a mentorship program for finalists.

Applications are open here until December 1.
