The 2023 Africa Women Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum Awards are now accepting nominations.
The distinguished awards recognize, honor, and celebrate the successes of women company owners and entrepreneurs in Africa, across a range of market segments.
The call for nominations for the 2023 AWIEF Awards has been made public by the Africa Women Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum (AWIEF). The prestigious awards, now in their seventh edition since 2017, recognize, honor, and celebrate the accomplishments of female company owners and entrepreneurs in Africa across a range of industry sectors for their commitment to the inclusive economic growth and development of the continent.
The nominees for the AWIEF Awards are female founders and entrepreneurs, both new and seasoned, who have shown exceptional vision, inspiration, leadership, and business success in line with AWIEF’s primary areas of innovation, technology, entrepreneurship, leadership, and socioeconomic development.
There are eight categories for the AWIEF Awards, and each has unique requirements for entry.
The AWIEF Awards recognize remarkable vision, leadership, inspiration, and achievement among female entrepreneurs and founders, both new and seasoned.
The deadline for nominations for the 2023 AWIEF Awards is July 17, 2023. Candidates have the option of being nominated by others or by themselves. A prestigious team of business executives and experts will judge the submissions.
During the AWIEF2023 Conference, which will take place in Kigali, Rwanda, on November 9 and 10, 2023, the winners will be revealed during a special ceremony and gala supper.
