Tech Startup, Viva Translate Raises $4M in Seed Funding
Viva Translate, a technology startup, announced $4 million in funding and the release of a new AI context-aware translation software.
Viva Translate is an artificial intelligence software that translates emails and other written communications between Spanish and English in real time.
The software works as a Chrome browser extension to provide automatic and instant translation.
The tool is designed to assist native Spanish speakers in finding, securing, and working remote jobs in the United States, where employers are struggling to find workers.
At the same time, the tech startup announced a $4 million seed funding round.
General Catalyst, Fellows Fund, Hyphen Capital, and various angel investors participated in the round.
Although the tech startup was initially focused on assisting Spanish-speaking professionals in Latin America, it is now receiving interest from a diverse range of prospective clients across multiple industries.
Viva Translate has 100,000 professionals on its waiting list even before it launches.
