Pishon Health Launches a new incubator to empower African health-tech entrepreneurs
Pishon Health, an African healthcare innovation incubator, has announced the opening of its Social Innovation Incubator program. The initiative’s goal is to provide mentorship, training, and possible funding to innovators who are working on tech-driven solutions.
The goal of the 12-week Pishon Health initiative is to provide mentorship, funding, and advisory services valued at up to $100,000 to healthcare innovators so they can develop, improve, and implement their ground-breaking ideas.
The new incubator aims to act as a catalyst, supporting and advancing the next wave of African entrepreneurs who are reshaping healthcare by helping startups traverse the challenges of creating and growing locally relevant solutions.
According to Pishon Health’s creator, Mopelola Lauretta Ajegbile, “Africa faces significant challenges in healthcare.” But the continent is also full of brilliant innovators creating solutions that are especially suited to deal with these problems. In order to close the gap, our incubator program nurtures these breakthroughs and gives them the tools they need to realize their full potential.
