O-Farms is Inviting Kenyan Agri-circularity Startups to Apply for its Accelerator Programme
Kenyan agri-circularity firms are encouraged to apply to participate in the second O-Farms accelerator program, which will provide milestone-based grant funding of up to EUR25,000 (US$24,000) to two peer-selected companies.
O-Farms was established in 2021 as Africa’s first agri-circularity-focused accelerator program, led by Bopinc and Village Capital, and administered by E4Impact Accelerator, with the intention of mainstreaming circularity as a strategy for enhanced rural lives and sustainability.
The program is now back for a second session and has thus far helped 11 SMEs. This year, it will assist 10 Kenyan-based agri-circularity startups in addressing food losses and byproducts. Selected startups will gain access to grant funding of up to EUR25,000 as well as a customized circularity curriculum that will help them define their circular solutions and strengthen their business models.
Here, applications are accepted through September 30.
