Nigeria: RiverSafe Joins Forces With Path to Possibilities to Support Children in Africa
In order to support and give possibilities to children and young people in Africa, RiverSafe, a professional services provider for cyber security, data operations, and DevOps, has teamed up with the education-focused organization Path to Possibilities.
Breaking the Cycles of Impoverishment for Nigeria’s Youth
With the help of learning resources and elementary and secondary school sponsorship, Path to Possibilities aims to end the cycle of deprivation that many young people in Nigeria experience.
RiverSafe has donated to the charity in order to maintain the Path to Possibilities Resource Center, which offers a classroom for kids in Ikota. Over 80,000 people have visited the center since it launched in 2017.
Opportunities for Scholarships
Path to Possibilities offers scholarship programs to educate fundamental courses like English and math to prepare kids for the future through the Resource Center.
“We formed a partnership with Path to Possibilities because we share the same fundamental beliefs—that education is the best way to give people a brighter future, for the betterment of everyone in society,” said Oseloka Obiora, CTO of RiverSafe.
