Nigeria Becomes Country Partner for GITEX 2014
Nigeria’s recent economic outlook is earning her choice positions in the global arena. As the largest economy in Africa, there has been a marked increase in foreign investment into the country.
Information and Communications Technology is growing at a great speed fostering Technology Entrepreneurship and building the Nigeria Start-Up Ecosystem. This year ,Nigeria is the country partner at the largest Technology Conference and Exhibition in Middle East. Africa and Asia- the GITEX 2014.
As part of the team that promoted Africa’s participation and Nigeria’s presence at the GITEX 2013, it is very interesting to see that Africa’s participation in this top globally rated Conferences and Exhibitions is on the increase as GITEX delivers increasing business opportunities for the region .
At GITEX 2013 Serbia was the country partner and I did witness how they used the GITEX Technology Week in Dubai to promote investment opportunities for their country.
