MTN Y’ellopreneur provides capacity-building and funding for female entrepreneurs.
MTN Y’ellopreneur is a program of the MTN Foundation created in partnership with the Bank of Industry to offer eligible Nigerian female entrepreneurs possibilities for funding and capacity building.
Through a 4-week virtual training program designed to ultimately empower more women, the Foundation is dedicated to closing the gender gap in entrepreneurship abilities. This effort is in line with the Federal Government’s Sustainable Development Goals Agenda.
To help them expand and sustain their firms, the training participants who meet the requirements for selection of the top 100 entrepreneurs will be given equipment loans of up to N2 million. Grants would be given to those who meet the requirements of the credit terms after the equipment loan has been fully repaid.
Who can apply for the MTN Y’ellopreneur?
A Female entrepreneur who displays passion and commitment to self-employment and runs an existing business of two years and above in manufacturing, processing, agriculture, ICT/digital services, financial services, etc. The focus is on businesses that source raw materials locally.
