Make-IT in Africa, Orange is Inviting Applicants to its Senegal-based Agri-tech Pprogram
Government-funded project in Germany Applications for the GreenAPI: Smart Agriculture Programme, which aims to let Senegalese agri-tech firms scale more quickly, have been opened by mobile operator Orange and Make-IT in Africa.
Make-IT in Africa and Orange are working together to deliver the GreenAPI: Smart Agriculture Programme, which aims to enhance agricultural practices in Africa by giving smallholder farmers, businesses, and other value chain participants more and better access to smart agriculture services.
Through the use of digital agricultural platforms (DAPs), it enables smallholder farmers to access a wide variety of services that have the potential to increase their productivity and standard of living through a single point of contact.
The GreenAPI: Smart Agriculture Programme facilitates business partnerships between smart agriculture startups and DAPs, giving startups the tools they need to integrate their goods and services with DAPs. It also gives startups the chance to be paired with a DAP in order to develop and test a joint service offering that will lead to a sustainable business relationship.
The deadline for submissions here is October 16.
