FATE Foundation Reports Two-Year Futuremakers Project Completion
The Aspiring Entrepreneurs Programme (AEP) Future Makers Edition, funded by Standard Chartered Foundation (SBF) and assisted by Youth Business International (YBI), has concluded, according to a statement released by FATE Foundation.
Standard Chartered Bank’s (SCB) global project, Futuremakers by Standard Chartered, aims to address inequality and encourage increased economic inclusion for adolescents in marginalized communities, particularly youths and individuals with disabilities. The goal of this program is to increase youths’ access to opportunities and employment that will reduce inequality.
The AEP Futuremakers project, which was created to assist underprivileged college students in their penultimate or final year, Persons with Disabilities (PWD), especially young people, and female-led enterprises, was put into action in 2021 by the FATE Foundation in collaboration with SCB.

Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria Limited’s AGM/Acting Head of Corporate Affairs, Brand, and Marketing Joke Adu stated, “We are thrilled to host the inaugural SC Pop Up.” Promoting awareness of the Bank’s Supplier Diversity and Inclusion strategy for small and women-owned businesses is the goal of the event. Additionally, it strengthens the strategic support the Bank offers to budding business owners, including those in postsecondary education and disabled entrepreneurs, via our suite of Futuremakers Community Impact initiatives (which center on education, employability, and entrepreneurship), including our AEP carried out by the Fate Foundation.
