Emmanuel Onyeje-former head, Microsoft Anglophone West African countries, joins Zinox Technologies
Oh boyy! I read this morning from Communications Week that Zinox Technologies Group, a leading integrated information technology group in Africa has hired Emmanuel Onyeje, former head, Microsoft Anglophone West African countries for strategic growth for the Nigeria Tech Company.
Mr Onyeje is now the chief operating officer (COO) of Zinox Technologies Group and is expected to help the group consolidate her leading position in Africa and bolster the group’s interests in PC manufacturing, distributions, systems integrations and advanced ICT solutions.
The former Microsoft boss in West Africa is a thorough bred ICT professional with intimidating credentials and career that has inadvertently turned out to be a summary of the development of the ICT sector in West Africa.
Onyeje, showed an early promise three years after graduation when he originated and led a project team to develop Nigeria’s first Microsoft Windows Application in 1992.
An exceptionally brilliant and accomplished technology strategist, Onyeje, turned around the fortunes of the number one global software company and achieved sustained unbroken records until he left Microsoft to join the Zinox , reputed for attracting best talents.
Onyeje had worked as chief information officer of the United Bank of Africa Group before joining Microsoft seven years ago.
With a strong educational background, Onyeje is well known for his depth of character, ability, determination and dedication.
He will bring to Zinox Technologies, his global experience in Information and Communications, numerous certifications from world-class OEMs, and active participant hindsight in software development and networks maintenance.
This Nigerian born professional, credited everywhere he worked, with saving costs and exceeding targets in triple digits without sacrificing customer satisfaction will also enhance the competencies of Zinox with his vast end user database, immense end user goodwill and credibility.
