Egypt’s MNT-Halan Buys B2B e-Commerce Platform Talabeyah

For an undisclosed sum, Egypt-based fintech MNT-Halan purchased Talabeyah, a B2B e-commerce site that sells FMCG goods.

By utilizing technology, a cutting-edge supply chain model, and the founders’ considerable experience in the FMCG industry, Karim Nassef, Amr Abbas, and Khaled Hussein created Talabeyah in 2020 with the goal of disrupting and digitizing the unorganized FMCG market in Egypt. Small retailers may manage their operations more effectively thanks to Talabeyah’s digital platform, which gives them instant access to a wide variety of items, transparent pricing information, and highly dependable quality of service.

Mounir Nakhla, CEO of MNT-Halan, commented on the transaction by saying, “The acquisition of Talabeyah is another step in our plan of developing a holistic digital ecosystem and is an ideal fit for our two firms.
