Egyptian healthtech startup, O7 Therapy secures $2.1 million Seed round for expansion
O7 Therapy is a refined, scientific, and evidence-based online platform designed to assist clients from all over the world in achieving mental wellbeing and positively impacting the workforce.
Lead by serial entrepreneur and CEO Ashraf Bacheet, with co-founders Dr Ashraf Adel, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Founder of nine psychology, and Nader Iskander, tech entrepreneur and Chairman of EME International.
They have collaborated to create a platform that guides clients through a technology-enabled therapeutic journey while also ensuring client confidentiality and safety through trusted methods for data encryption and storage in a user-friendly framework. O7 Therapy has built a network of premier bilingual psychiatrists and psychotherapists to help clients deal with mental health issues.
Hikma Ventures led the current round, which included C-Ventures, Lotus Ventures, and other famous angel investors. The investment intends to promote mental health and wellness, assist in addressing various difficulties, and advocate for mental health and wellness.
The round’s goal is to enable growth in the Middle East as well as to permit different new product features and enhancements. Furthermore, the current investment will enable the team to extend its Corporate Wellness Programs for more firms throughout the region that are committed to improving mental health in the workplace.
