CMC Networks Rolls out Supercharged Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) Across 51 African Countries
To hasten the adoption of SD-WAN in Africa, CMC Networks has introduced IP Premier, a high-performance dedicated internet access (DIA) service.
Along with the usual availability, IP Premier also offers tight service level agreements (SLAs) for jitter, packet loss, and round-trip delay (RTD). In some of the world’s most difficult markets, it offers a reliable platform for deploying SD-WAN services and delivering optimized user experiences.
For tying up business sites, cloud services, content delivery networks, and internet exchanges locally and globally in Africa, IP Premier offers predictable performance. A Microsoft Azure Peering Services partner in Africa, CMC Networks offers a single hop from any location to the necessary on-ramp, enhancing users’ Office 365 experiences.
“For the past three decades, we have created and provided solutions that are tailored to the unique requirements of regional markets all throughout Africa. Enterprises can deploy SD-WAN overlay services with the consistency and dependability they want thanks to IP Premier’s underlay network.
The CEO of CMC Networks, Marisa Trisolino, said, “We’re going beyond traditional SLAs that are focused on uptime and ensuring performance that will have a direct impact on the speed of SD-WAN adoption on the continent. We are able to give enterprise customers more control over their networking and constant on-net performance, in contrast to players that are reselling services from third parties.
The DIA from CMC Networks offers up to 10Gbps of symmetrical upload and download speed. It provides constant performance throughout African markets and at times of high traffic.
The DIA solution from CMC Networks is supported locally by engineers who are familiar with the market conditions there and make sure that services are up and running as efficiently as possible.
“Overlay services like SD-WAN reflect the characteristics of the underlay network. Africa’s businesses must have a solid foundation before implementing fresh software-defined networking technologies.
IP Premier was created in direct response to business needs, discussions with regional IT teams in Africa, and interactions with international MNCs operating there. According to Geoff Dornan, Chief Technical Officer at CMC Networks, “they all want more intelligence and dependability in the underlying network to enable SD-WAN, and that’s what we’re giving.
The business holds MEF 3.0 SD-WAN and Ethernet certifications, making it the first and only service provider in Africa to do so. More than 110 service locations in Africa, the Middle East, and other parts of the world are serviced by its on-the-ground engineers who speak the local tongues.
