Apply for the $50k GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize
The GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize is now accepting applications from African agri-tech firms. The prize aims to uncover Africa’s finest young agri-food entrepreneurs and will pay US$50,000 in cash to each of the two winners.
The GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize honors agribusinesses that advance agriculture and food via technology, creativity, and enthusiasm.
The organizers are looking for businesses that show originality and innovation, market potential and traction, social and commercial impact, environmental sustainability, and an inspiring and investible team. Successful applicants – one man, one woman – could win one of two US$50,000 cash prizes to help scale their innovations.
The GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize is a terrific chance for young African agripreneurs to expand their business.
The competition also provides top agripreneurs with the opportunity to attend the annual African Green Revolution Forum (AGRF) and make their mark, in addition to the US$50,000 prize. This year, if COVID constraints do not prevent it, the leading Gogettaz agripreneurs will attend the AGRF Summit in Kigali, Rwanda.
