Apply for HiiL’s Innovating Justice Challenge
The Hague Institute for Innovation of Law (HiiL) has opened applications for its Innovating Justice Challenge 2022, which seeks innovations aimed at preventing or resolving a justice problem for a large number of people, including small and medium-sized businesses.
HiiL is looking for justice innovators from Africa and the Middle East, specifically Ethiopia, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Morocco, Nigeria, Rwanda, and Tunisia, to help millions of people gain access to justice.
HiiL’s Justice Accelerator is looking for promising new justice innovations this year to prevent or resolve the most pressing justice needs in the areas of crime, land, employment, family, tenancy, and neighbor issues.
The best innovators will then be invited to join the HiiL Justice Accelerator programme, where they will receive non-equity funding of up to EUR10,000 (US$11,000) as well as access to a full training program, coaching and mentorship sessions, and HiiL’s global network. They will also gain international exposure, possible investment opportunities, and the opportunity to win up to EUR20,000 (US$22,000) on demo day.
Applications are open here until March 31.
