Applications are Open for startups to Pitch Live at Africa Startup Summit Nairobi
Applications are now open for the 2022 edition of Pitch Live, which will take place at the fourth Africa Startup Summit next month in Nairobi.
The Africa Startup Summit is part of the fourth annual Africa Tech Summit, which will take place live and in person on February 23-24 in Nairobi, Kenya. The two-day conference will highlight Africa’s startup environment and entrepreneurial skills.
Ten startups will be chosen to showcase their products and “ask” on stage in front of an audience of over 500 African tech leaders, including investors, corporates, accelerators, and media.
“We are thrilled to welcome African startups back to Pitch Live on Stage at Africa Tech Summit.” Despite the fact that the last two years have been extremely difficult globally, several tech ventures across the continent have thrived.
“The Africa Startup Summit is all about supporting the ecosystem and establishing a forum for these businesses to meet with investors and corporates,” said Andrew Fassnidge, founder of Africa Tech Summit.
Selected initiatives will also receive access to the whole event, which includes three summits as well as a wide range of workshops, talks, and networking opportunities. Startups must be African (at least one African co-founder or located in Africa), less than five years old, have at least an MVP with existing traction, have raised less than US$1 million in external capital, and have a current “ask.”
Startups must be able to attend the summit in Nairobi in-person. Applications are open until January 31, and will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Apply here.
