Application is now Open for The Green Entrepreneurship Awards 2023
The Adelphi green entrepreneurship team is currently accepting applications for the 2023 Green Entrepreneurship Awards.
The Awards will provide assistance to eco-inclusive and circular firms to scale their company expansion while also improving local communities’ capacity to adapt to the effects of a changing environment.
The Circular Economy Awards by Circular Economy Catalyst are focused on India and Kenya, while the Climate Adaptation Awards by SEED are focused on Botswana, Malawi, and Zambia. This year’s awards are the product of a collaboration between SEED and the Circular Economy Catalyst.
Qualified enterprises include those in Botswana, Malawi, and Zambia that concentrate on topics like biodiversity protection, responsible water management, community resilience building, sustainable land management, and climate-smart farming techniques.
Five runners-up in each nation will receive a matching prize of EUR 1,500 (US $1,600) and six months of SEED Catalyser support to help them make the investments they need to succeed.
From each country, one winner of the Climate Adaptation Awards will get support for a year from SEED Accelerator as well as a matching grant of up to US$16,000 to assist with the scaling-up costs.
A matching grant of up to US$5,400 and six months of Catalyser business development support will be given to the top ten runners-up in each nation to assist them in making the necessary investments for growth.
The recipients will be announced at the UN High-Level Political Conference at the beginning of July after the application deadline of March 23.
