Abuja to Host Startup World Cup Regional Competition
African entrepreneurs can now apply to compete for worldwide fame and a US$1 million prize in the Startup World Cup initiative’s regional tournament, which will take place in Abuja, Nigeria, in May.
One of the biggest and most prestigious startup pitch contests in the world, the Startup World Cup is organized in collaboration with Pegasus Tech Ventures and brings together the most promising innovators from all over the world.
On May 20, the Startup World Cup regional tournament will be held in Abuja as part of the RegTech Africa Conference and Exhibition. In order to fight for US$1 million in funding and obtain unmatched international exposure, it will select a top company to move on to the global final.
