Innovate47 Opens Applications for Food & Agri Accelerator Program for African Startups

The Food & Agri Accelerator, an eight-week program created to assist high-potential founders developing solutions at the nexus of agricultural, food systems, and climate resilience, has been launched by Innovate47, a worldwide venture builder and entrepreneur support organization.
A global venture builder and entrepreneur support organization, Innovate47 helps early-stage businesses that are addressing some of the most important issues facing the globe. Through initiatives in several areas, Innovate47 links entrepreneurs with networks, funding, and mentors to spur innovation.
As a global platform for innovation in the Global South, Innovate47 has grown its network of companies from Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, and Pakistan. The new program will build on this foundation by bringing together a diverse international cohort of founders and giving them access to investor connections, specialized coaching, and a route to expand their businesses internationally.
“The frontlines of the climate disaster are food systems. The benefits are already being felt by farmers, consumers, and communities around the world, according to Umair Sheikh, founder of Innovate47. “With the help of this program, we hope to find fearless businesspeople with scalable solutions and provide them with the resources, connections, and funding channels they need to truly make an impact.”
In addition to group sessions, the eight-week Food & Agri Accelerator will give participants access to investors, industry experts, and knowledgeable mentors. The application makes use of a virtual model that was created to accommodate the inventors’ hectic schedules.
Global startup entrepreneurs working on projects in fields like climate-smart farming, agri-fintech, supply chain innovation, food security, and regenerative agriculture are now eligible to apply.
