GET Accelerated Program 2024 provides 10 Nigerian startups with N55 million in equity-free funding.
The third iteration of the Grooming Endowment Trust’s (GET) annual GET Accelerated program has been successfully completed. GET is a non-profit organization that supports Nigeria’s business environment. This program gives early-stage businesses the tools they need to grow without giving up stock.
GET has helped more than 50 entrepreneurs in sectors like education, healthcare, and mobility since its inception in 2020. Filmanatomie, Lucred, Frootify, Ploutos Page, Deluxe Creation Studios, Autogirl, Growwr, EdGO, Skooqs, and Riwe were among the ten startups that were part of the 2024 cohort.
At the ceremony, five outstanding startups—Autogirl, EdGO, Deluxe Creation Studios, Ploutos Page, and Growwr—each got an additional ?10,000,000 in equity-free capital. The program provides mentorship, masterclasses, access to a vibrant business ecosystem, and equity-free finance of up to ?55,000,000.
Adaobi Okafor, Chairperson of GET, said, “We are excited to have supported startups across diverse industries this year, from those shaping the future of education to those revolutionizing gaming, filmmaking, and mobility.”
She affirmed GET’s dedication to continuing to support the businesses and praised their growth. Additionally, Okafor thanked Kick-off Africa, a program partner, for playing a crucial part in forming the cohort.
Kick-off Africa’s program manager, Abraham Akpan, outlined the initiative’s three-year impact: By giving them access to funding, mentorship, and the direction they require to grow and succeed, we have empowered early-stage entrepreneurs.
Start of Africa, which is known for supporting innovation and early-stage businesses, has played a significant role in the program’s success by giving entrepreneurs the know-how to advance their businesses.
GET’s commitment to creating a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem and promoting constructive change in Nigeria is further demonstrated by the GET Accelerated program, which continues to be a pillar of the organization.
The third quarter of the year will see the opening of applications for the 2025 cohort.
