Redcity joins Eko Anime Fest 2023 with “Attack on titans” parallax installation
Eko Anime Fest was back for its second edition at the canyon center Lekki.
The event drew almost 2000 dedicated anime lovers across Lagos and Nigeria in colorful and descript cosplay.
The 12 hour event was filled with activities such as a cosplay contest, face painting, games, vendors and amongst this, a photo booth.
The photo booth was set up as an eye illusion parallax featuring, Eren Yeager, a character from the popular anime “Attack of the titan”.
The character occasionally transforms into a man-eating fearful giant and the structure created an illusion of motion from 2 perspectives when viewed and showed the same character as a regular boy and then as a transformation into a titan.
The photo booth also featured varying 3D anime characters.
It was designed and built by Nigerian Design engineer Morountodun Obaigbo with her construction company Redcity.
Morountodun Obaigbo is a design engineer who has worked in arts and design construction for almost 10 years. She holds a BA in Metal design and graphics communications as well as certifications in Investment Management Analysis and Financial analysis.
