Who Wins ISPON Software Competition 2012 as Tertiary Institutions In Nigeria Stampede National Software Competition.
The Institute of Software Practitioners of Nigeria (ISPON) had in July flagged off this year’s National Software Competition with the appointment of Dr Ernest Anene Ndukwe as the Distinguished Knowledge Ambassador, and calls for qualified Tertiary Institutions established and recognized in the Federal Republic of Nigeria to be part of this. It could be recalled that over 30 Higher institutions of learning in Nigeria took part in the event last year where Abia State Polytechnic became the winners with their e-Voting project.
As the finals of the competition draws so close, it becomes important to remind our young code warriors to take part this year. As released by ISPON, Competitors must be members of ISPON Software Clubs accredited to register and participate in the National Software Innovation Cup Competition. The finals is scheduled for October 29 and 30 2012 at the Tinapa Knowledge City, Calabar, Cross River State with the theme: The Cloud and the Future of Software Nigeria.
