WhatsApp Introduces a New Feature That Enables Users to Make, Arrange, and Distribute Custom Sticker Packs

Sorting stickers is now simpler thanks to a new function that WhatsApp has introduced. Users may now make personalized sticker packs within the Meta Platforms instant messaging client without ever leaving the app. To expedite the process of locating the appropriate sticker and forwarding it to their loved ones, they can arrange their stored stickers into several folders. Additionally, WhatsApp has made it possible to distribute a whole sticker pack rather than just a single sticker
Custom Sticker Packs on WhatsApp
In October 2024, it was initially reported that WhatsApp was testing the creation of personalized sticker packs. The functionality was first made available to Android WhatsApp beta users earlier this year, but it was only available to those who had signed up through the Google Play Beta Program.
The personalized sticker pack feature is now accessible on WhatsApp for iOS and Android with the most recent version. It removes the need to make personalized sticker packs with third-party apps.
“You can now create your own sticker packs and share them directly in your chats, so your friends and family can all use your custom stickers to express themselves,” the instant messaging platform said in an announcement of the feature’s launch. Along with the GIF, avatar, and sticker options, WhatsApp’s sticker sheet now features a new pencil icon.
To create a custom sticker pack:
- Open stickers
- Tap on the pencil icon
- Select stickers you wish to add
- Select the three-dot option in the bottom-left corner of the screen
- Choose the Add to sticker pack option
Users can specify the folder name and the custom pack will appear with other saved stickers on WhatsApp. While they can send an individual sticker to others, there’s another option which transmits the complete sticker pack as bulk. The feature is operational on both the iOS and Android platforms, according to Gadgets 360 employees.
Nevertheless, it seems that user-made stickers are the only ones that may be stored in personalized sticker packs. For those made by the instant chat app itself, it is ineffective.
