WhatsApp Business Beta Users Will Receive a New Shortcut for the Quick Replies Feature

According to reports, WhatsApp Business is getting a new feature. According to reports, the beta version of the instant messaging app for businesses will get a new shortcut for quickly replying to messages.

Select WhatsApp Business beta testers on Android and iOS are said to have access to the new Quick Replies shortcut. The Quick Replies feature has been available in WhatsApp Business for some time, and it was accessed by pressing ‘/’ on the keyboard and selecting a message from the list to send to a customer.

According to WABetaInfo, a WhatsApp features tracker, WhatsApp Business is getting a new shortcut for the Quick Replies functionality. According to reports, the new shortcut will be available in the chat share action menu. As previously stated, the new shortcut is said to be available to beta testers on Android and iOS devices running the most recent version of the beta app.

The reason for the new shortcut is unknown for the time being, but the features tracker speculates that it was added to inform more WhatsApp Business users about the Quick Replies feature. There is no word on when the new shortcut will be available to regular WhatsApp Business users.

For a long time, WhatsApp Business users have had access to the Quick Replies feature. The Quick Replies feature was added to the WhatsApp Web and Desktop versions in early 2019. Quick Replies enables businesses to send predefined messages in response to frequently asked questions. Previously, users could activate this functionality by pressing ‘/’ on their keyboard and selecting a predefined message to send to users.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Meta’s instant messaging app was testing a new in-app camera interface for the Android app. The new interface is said to have a redesigned Switch Camera button as well as a new location for the flash shortcut. Furthermore, WhatsApp is testing the ability for group admins to delete specific messages for all members of the group.
