Twitter Spaces Session Recording is Now Available for Public Playback
Twitter Spaces, a tool that allows users to host or participate in live audio discussions on the site, will soon allow all hosts on Android and iOS to record a session, which will be made public for a short period.
It is the second significant improvement in this area since the recording capability was launched on October 28.
Twitter Spaces received a Podcast-like feature last month, allowing all users on Android, iOS, and Web to listen to a recording of the platform’s talks.
According to the most recent Twitter Spaces update, the ability for hosts to record is now available to all users on Android and iOS.
According to the most recent Twitter Spaces update, the ability for hosts to record is now available to all users on Android and iOS. It was previously only available to a select group of iOS users. Furthermore, while initiating a Space for Android or iOS, hosts can toggle the “Record Space” switch to make it “accessible for public playback for 30 days after the Space has ended.” It was once exclusively available to iOS users, but it was later expanded to Android and Web.
Twitter recently announced that it was testing a TikTok tool dubbed ‘Quote Tweet with Reaction,’ which will allow users to respond to tweets with photographs and videos by hitting on the icon in the Retweet menu.
These reaction videos or images are referred to as Tweet Takes by Twitter, and they are comparable to TikTok’s video answers. On iOS, the feature is currently being tested.
Twitter has also launched a number of measures to provide voters with accurate information ahead of the upcoming Assembly Elections in five Indian states. “During elections, individuals use Twitter to discover credible information about voting, to learn about candidates and their platforms, and to engage in healthy civic debate and dialogue.” Twitter is committed to allowing people to make informed decisions while exercising their civic rights as a service for public debate, according to a statement issued by the company.
