TotalEnergies, eHealth Africa, Kevinblak, Others Honoured at the 10th Nigeria Innovation Summit

The 10th edition of the Nigeria Innovation Summit (NIS), held on October 7–8, 2025, at the MUSON Centre, Lagos, celebrated outstanding innovators and organizations driving sustainable impact across Nigeria. Themed “Sustainable Innovation,” the event brought together startups, tech leaders, policymakers, and thought leaders to showcase transformative ideas shaping the nation’s innovation ecosystem.
The high point of the summit was the 2025 Nigeria Innovation Awards, which recognized organizations and individuals whose work exemplifies creativity, sustainability, and measurable social impact. From renewable energy to health tech and digital learning, this year’s honorees stood out for applying technology and ingenuity to address Nigeria’s most pressing challenges.
Out of hundreds of nominations, six organizations and two individuals emerged as recipients of the prestigious awards, given their impressive track record of innovatively tackling problems and measurable impacts through their work.
TotalEnergies was honoured for Championing Sustainable Energy Solutions in Nigeria, recognizing the company’s leadership in promoting cleaner energy access and advancing decarbonization strategies.
eHealth Africa took home the award for Advancing Healthcare Access Through Technology, affirming its digital health innovations and interventions across Nigeria and Africa.

Kevinblak (Governor Amuneke) was named the Most Innovative Content Creator of the Year, celebrating his ability to weave social commentary into creative content and engage audiences through satire and storytelling.
Other winners included Rise Networks for Driving Social Change & Youth Inclusion Through Technology; DigiLearns for Transforming Education Access For Sustainable Impact; Lumos Laboratories for Waste-To-Energy Technology Leader of The Year; Louer Global Limited (Louer Group) got the award as the Best E-Government Service Company. Also, Ugochukwu Okoli of Louer Group received the award for the Outstanding Cyber Intelligence Professional of the Year.
The Nigeria Innovation Award is a flagship component of NIS, designed to reward those whose innovations are not just novel but scalable, sustainable, and socially impactful. The submissions to the 2025 NIS Awards demonstrate a need to develop innovative business solutions and establish an ecosystem in Nigeria across all sectors to drive innovation. It is also there to promote local content development and locally-relevant technological solutions to have a significant impact on the socio-economic development of Nigeria.
By spotlighting these winners, the Summit underscored a powerful message that innovation must transcend rhetoric to deliver measurable, lasting change, exemplifying how cross-sector solutions can ripple through Nigeria’s development landscape. The awards stand as vivid proof that innovation, when rooted in purpose, becomes transformation.
