The 6th AlphaExpo Micro-Accelerator cohort for the Africa Fintech Summit is now accepting applications.
The sixth cohort of the AlphaExpo Micro-Accelerator has opened for submissions at the Africa Fintech Summit, the largest biannual fintech event in Africa.
Up to 15 African businesses will be able to attend and exhibit at this year’s event in Lusaka, Zambia, on November 1-2 thanks to the AlphaExpo program, which is at the core of the Africa Fintech Summit purpose.
On Friday, November 3, cohort participants will also compete in the AlphaExpo Pitch Competition, which will officially wrap up this year’s events.
53 pre-Series A firms have been showcased at the AlphaExpo since 2018, featuring companies like PiggyVest, Yellow Card, MarketForce, PNGME, CrowdForce, PayHippo, and many others. AlphaExpo graduates have raised close to US$200 million in venture capital.
“The AlphaExpo project is primarily created to assist founders in advancing more quickly. According to Andrew Barden, the content director for the Africa Fintech Summit, “strengthening brand recognition, developing thought leadership, and generating leads from a business development standpoint all play a crucial role in a startup’s success story.
African pre-Series A entrepreneurs are urged to apply here before August 31.
