The 15th Orange Social Venture Prize in Africa and the Middle East is now accepting applications.

The 15th Orange Social Venture Prize (OSVP), which supports social innovation and promotes entrepreneurship, is currently accepting applications throughout Africa and the Middle East.
Innovative startup ventures that employ and develop new technologies to improve the region in areas like education, healthcare, e-commerce, agriculture, or the environment have been rewarded by the OSVP in Africa and the Middle East since 2011.
There are two stages to the 15th edition of the competition, which is currently accepting applications from applicants in the 17 nations that make up the Orange footprint in the region. Three winners will be picked from each of the 17 subsidiaries through a national stage that will accept applications until May. These winners will then move on to the international stage, where ten finalists will be selected for the International Grand Prize and five for the International Women’s Prize.
From among the 15 projects chosen by Orange Group employees, a final jury composed of prominent figures from the tech and entrepreneurship communities in Africa and the Middle East will then be in charge of selecting the three International Grand Prize winners and the OSVP International Women’s Prize winner in October.
First place will receive EUR25,000 (US$27,000), second place will receive EUR15,000 (US$16,000), third place will receive EUR10,000 (US$11,000), and the International Women’s Prize winner will receive EUR20,000 (US$22,000).
You can apply online through May 18.
