TechQuest 2015 Summer Camp to Empower Young Nigerians with Cutting-Edge Skills
TechQuest Camp is an intensive 2-week Information Technology Training Program designed for primary and secondary school children. Participants will learn the fundamentals of web, animation and game design using tools and a curriculum at par with their age mates from San Francisco to Beijing.
TechQuest strongly believes that teaching relevant technology skills to the young ones, ages 6 – 16, will prepare them adequately for the
entrepreneurial challenges of the knowledge economy of today and the future.
TechQuest Camp, is designed to run for 6 hours a day, 5 (or 6) days a week,for 2-week periods preferably during holidays. The programme is an engaging, fun-filled experience for children in a conducive environment through hands-on interactive lessons and projects.
The training programme includes 2 excursions – to any of our technology partners’ location to view practical applications of a career in Information Technology, and to an innovation space or technology incubator where the next big African startup is being put together.
